CHVRCHES, a young budding trio formed in 2011, has been gaining a solid fan following since their well-received release of the single “Mother We Share” in 2012. On first listen, CHRVCHES may come off as straightforward new wave pop, but what follows is a somber dive deep into heartache, wanting and despair. Candid and honest lyrics combined with emotional vocals and synth creates a musical atmosphere easily accessible to even the most passive of listeners.
The band is currently working on their first full-length album slated to be released in late 2013.
